From Project to Project
much of the nitty gritty details that are crucial to the success of the project are ever changing. What doesn’t change is the Project process that we are proud to have created and streamlined in order to produce a special product time and time again.
This is probably the most exciting part of the process for our team. This is where we take you through a series of calls and questionnaires to truly understand your personality and how you like to live life in your home. We love to see design inspiration photos, foods you love, colours you love, favourite vacation places, all things that really fulfill the client, because it isn’t just paint colour that drives our inspiration is it? We also like to discuss budget and we educate the client on the potentials for costs based on the renovation, and design they are looking for, whether it is small-scale or a full home remodel, we are prepared but we like you to be fully prepared as well.
After we have a preliminary understanding and before we get to work designing the space, we need to enter the space to get a feel for the energy, size, scale and of course the actual measurements of the space. The Renovation team will need to analyze the space and all of the potential obstacles they may encounter behind the walls, ceilings, HVAC, and floor
This is where your Designer will take all the pieces of the above phase and begin to put together a beautiful puzzle, to create a complete design. now that we understand your design tastes we will create a layout of the space, we will put together your mood boards where we finalize the colors for the walls, and materials we use, as well as confirming furniture selections, and floor materials.
After everything is reviewed and agreed upon, we can move forward in the process to the next phase!
With the design direction established and the floor plan selected, we now move forward to kick up the dust, and get excited about the mess…This is the phase where the Project Management is critical to the success of this design. Our highly skilled Project Management team is prepared to get the team of contractors in line to keep on time and on budget. Our Project Manager is on site to manage the schedule to avoid any issues before they start, we keep an open line of communication and continue to inspect the progress to maintain the timeliness of your project, which is just as important to us as it is to all our clients.
At this point the paint has dried, the dust cleaned, and last pieces of furniture are moved in – and lights are installed, art is hung, and we come in to take our final project photos for our portfolio, and we walk with you for the reveal to ensure that the project has exceeded your expectations.
We know this may seem like an extensive process, but while its mainly business mixed with a whole lot of excitement – we want to take the stress out of what typically can be a stressful process when you go at it alone.
